Honesty and integrity is always first and foremost. If it is a warranty or recall situation that can be done for free we will always advise the customer of that option. Once we had an idea what the problem was and verified the vehicle was still under powertrain warranty we stopped looking; there was no reason to charge as we were only verifying information.
