Thank you for your business and speaking with me today. We apologize that Saturday is the busiest day of the week for us and usually books up well in advance. We suggest calling more than a day or 2 in advance if you would like a Saturday appointment. We were glad we could get you in this last Saturday.
As I stated in our call we did not provide any up-sell to you in any way. We did an oil change as you asked which comes with our free 24 point inspection. We provided you the results of the inspection indicating for you that your oil leak that you already knew about is getting worse and we recommend an engine degreasing to determine the source of the problem. We also found your brakes at 4mm which is now leaving the yellow alert zone and entering what is considered the “Red zone” or being needed immediately as this situation can cause the need for a greater distance in order to properly stop your car.
If I do not provide this information as I advertise and just keep it to myself I would not be doing my job as advertised. I additionally would not be helping my customers be proactive in their auto maintenance and safety. Instead this would then force you to have to be reactive to things when they actually brake down leaving you stranded or worse. The car has to safely start and stop in order to work. The Items I mentioned to you effect both of those situations drastically. All we did was point it out to you. It is up to you to decide what you want to do with the information.
