Dear Mr. S: Thank you for your comment. Yes, the motor we received from the parts warehouse was defective. The store could not provide another motor until the following day. We understand you have a busy life and need your vehicle. However, this is why we suggested you go to the dealership and obtain an original Jeep 'brand' quality part to be sure this does not occupy your valuable time and perhaps receive a courtesy vehicle for the day.
