I had a heater core go bad, I knew it was bad before I came in. I was going on a trip so I told Steve that I would just bypass the heater core myself. Steve said no let me do it with a proper hose size reducer. So I made an appointment for following day. The following day I brought it in and Steve or Mike was not there. So they went to work on it and it took longer than I expected. They left a significant puddle of antifreeze in the passenger side carpeting which we didn't discover until half way through our trip. Some of the antifreeze may have already been there but they did a pressure test which probably added a lot more. Why didn't they suck it up or tell me about it? Don't know yet what it will do to my carpeting. Shocker $139 !!! I was expecting $30 or $40 for the bypass. I didn't need a diagnostic charge, I already knew what was wrong. Quote for heater core replacement was $900 from the man behind the counter. I got it done elsewhere for $630. Man behind the counter killed it for me, no longer a customer, sorry. Don't believe this would have happened if Steve or Mike were handling it.
