Prasad said they returned the vehicle to him with a significant defect, it was not a very good job, he had to leave it there longer, and he had to rent a vehicle for the extra time. The driver's door made a noise when it was closed, and the door was shaking. He paid so much money for this repair, so he was very upset they told him it was ready but it was incomplete. He left it there a few more days. The door had been replaced, and after they worked on it some more, it still wasn't 100 percent. It still shakes a little when it is closed, and they didn't fix it properly at all. Time wasn't a factor, and he left it there longer, but it was there 3 weeks and he spent $9,000. He didn't understand why they were trying to return it in that condition. He probably wouldn't recommend them because of what he went through, and maybe they'd recommend another place. It's a minor thing and anybody could fix it. It was recommended he go elsewhere, but he bought his vehicle from the affiliated dealer, he brings his vehicle for service, they do a good job, he trusted them. Prasad wasn't quite sure this business got the correct door. He thinks that dampening materials may be what's missing, because that prevents noise. They need to go to Mercedes to get the right door, or get the dampening material.
