Don't go the Price Hyundai false claims about oil, did not fix the electirc short.
Very poor, wasted my time, false claim that I used ND oil, oil level low, oil filter loose ext. Did not fix electric short, just charged me for putting fuse in when the car is under warranty and it shorted out again. Go to Harrisonburg.

Steve W. from Price Hyundai responded on 01/23/2014 09:04 AM

The blown fuse is most likely caused by the customer furnished accessories being used on that circuit as no short was found.

The check engine light was caused by the engine knock sensor picking up the intermittent knocking sound emmitting from the engine. This can be caused by too infrequent oil changes and/or improper oil. We have no maintenace records on this vehicle. We did observe a leaking non Hyundai oil fitler, very dark oil and the oil level was low. Many after-market oil filters do not have the proper valving to maintain proper oil pressure at start up thus the engine knock.
Yes some components are still under warranty, however not all and most specifically fuses are not covered nor is improper maintenance and non Hyundai parts.

I apologize if we did not do a proper job of communicating this to you.

Regards,

Steve
