On Friday morning, my car wouldn’t start….I was told by John(service manager) to try to get the car started and bring car to dealership. Despite being a single mother, and no clue about cars, my children and I tried several different times to get car started with no luck. I hitched a ride to dealership, John(service manager) was rude and told me his hands were tied and there was nothing he could do to assist with getting my car to the dealership. My radio went out on same car in June, there is no estimated date as to when I will get another radio. John said to me, there is nothing the service dept can do to my car until the radio comes in. I was telling someone else my issue, he instructed me to call Hyundai roadside assistance and have the car towed to dealership. My car was towed to Smart Hyundai at approximately 1:45 pm. After working a 12 hour shift on Friday and being up all morning, trying to get my car started, I finally went home to sleep. Went to Hyundai Service dept on Saturday afternoon to check on my car, John says “No the car isn’t ready, I have to wait in line and they will get to it” They didn’t have a loaner car to offer, and no time frame to tell me when my car would be ready. I’m a nurse that works nights, I have children with day baseball games this weekend….thanks John for being a thorn in my side this weekend! Your mission was definitely accomplished! I’ve been a loyal customer to Smart Hyundai since 2014.
