Severe miscommunication
Kept receiving post cards that I needed to get my maintenance done on my car. So I called in 3 weeks ago, let the girl on the phone know that I wasn't at the 24k mileage. She said that was fine because it had been several months since I had been in. So today, at 7:30 am I drop off my car, and about 10 minutes after I've left with my daughter who followed me over, I get a call from the tech saying I wasn't at the correct mileage to get the pil changed and that Hyundai wouldn't pay for it, it's supposed to be free since I purchased the car there. So I explained that the lady who made the appointment told me that it was ok because it had been quite a while since I had been in. So he spoke with his supervisor and they would change the oil. They said that the call center made a mistake. I was floored at the fact that they didn't even seem to care that it was a major inconvenience to go all the way over there, have someone follow me, then call me, have me go all the way back for a mistake that Hyundai made. Not me.. I've purchased several cars from this dealership but apparently I'm not worth the inconvenience of a 70 dollar oil change. The customer service thing to do was to realize that I had been very inconvenienced over something they did, not me, and said we will just change it. Nope. So, I will no longer purchase any vehicles there , have my oil changed there or recommend them. I've told many folks to buy cars there. My kids all drive cars that they've purchased from that Hyundai dealership. Called corporate lodge a complaint with them as well. A lage investment like a car is important but what's more important is how you treat your customers. Ken Garff Hyndai, your slacking. You won't get anymore of my hard earned money
