I showed up for a state inspection and my wifes van was pulled in quickly. Gary pulled the van in about 2/3rds the way in and proceeded to talk to the other technician for about 20 minutes as i stood outside. Then he and the other technician checked the lights on my van and the windshield wipers. That was all. Didnt put the van on the lift, didnt pull any of the wheels, didnt check steering, suspension, exhaust or anything else. I was very disappointed because my wife and children travel in the van daily. I understand him failing my van for a third brake light but the wiper blade on the passenger side for torn less than a 1/4" and the drivers side was fine. I asked him is that was all he was failing my van for and he said yes. He proceeded to replace the 3rd brake light and both(dont know why) wiper blades. I was a little upset but just paid the bill and left because i knew you company sent emails asking about my experience. So instead of making a scene in front of the customers that were there I decided to let you know in this email.
I brought my 92 corolla there a while back and was very happy with the service I received and the technician looked at my vehicle properly. After that service I have told my family and friends about your business. One of my co-workers even brought their Lexus SUV in there for a timing Belt Replacement. I would like to keep coming and refering customers to your business because I dont want to let one bad experience ruin the convenience of your shop. I would like to know however why when I was there the gentelman that was quoting tickets was saying he wanted to send another vehicle that day to be sent for an alignment because the tires would be in the next day. I have been working on vehicles my entire life and Im a certified Mercedes tech and an ASE Master technician and know that you do an alignment with the new tires on the vehicle not before. I know what I heard because he said it twice and the other customer their asked me if I heard him say that too? Disappointed, I said Yes.
