So sad they stopped making this model

This is a great utility truck / family van. Lots of cargo room when you need, seating for four when you don't. All wheel drive, great engine and tranny. If something happened to this ride we would be lost if we could not find another one.

we love our honda

its a good car for travel, and cargo the ga es milege is great 28 miles to the gallon, compact , not crazy about suiside doors just annoying than regular back doors but for a work vehicle or need for cargo its great. the back seats either fold up on the sides or can be removed . the seats in the back are smaller and only fit 2 adults

Great multipurpose car

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Hope to keep this car for at least 500,000 miles! Since it is a Honda, that should be easy!

Love my Element!

My car is great for me. I need to haul my walkers and sometimes my mobility scooter. I can adjust the steering wheel and the seat to just fit me. I like that the inside is waterproof. Cleaning it is easy. I like that there is no post between the front and back seats, so loading and unloading is lots easier, especially with child seats. I like the large leg room in the back. I just love my Element. It is probably my last car, and it is perfect for me. I have had very few repairs, maybe 2 minor ones, and the mileage is almost 100,000.

Wish Honda Still Made the Element

We purchased our Honda Element new in 2003. We have it 16 years now. It is still in great condition. It never broke down and it never needed any mechanical fixes other than normal wear and tear like tires, brakes and batteries. If Honda still made them, I would buy another.

I love my Honda Element. It holds my bycilcle, plants, shrubs, furniture, you name it and is comfortable to drive. I wish Honda had not stopped making them.

My Honda Element gets through snow, rain, sleet mud without a problem.Thecar is a trooper. It has transported me trhough thinkc and thin. Safely transported my grandchildren. and other passengers. I have not found another vehicle of the same value and wish that HOnda would start building them again.

Why are they no more?

I LOVE this car and it's versatility. I have had it since the beginning of Jan 2003 and the dependability is remarkable. I would buy a new one, but for some reason they are not being made anymore. There is nothing you can't do with it-hauling, people, comfort. I have even slept in it a couple of times. Just a great dependable car. Love the simplicity of it, fewer things to go wrong.

Bring it back

Get on with it Honda. Your current line of crossover SUVs lack character, inspiration and imagination. I get buyer’s remorse just looking at them. Bring back the Element or I’ll just keep this one going forever. I’m not buying another Honda until you do.

I love my car. I wish they still made Elements! I am getting ready to pass my Element down to my son who is getting ready to start driving and I will get a new-to-me car but I sure would like to get a new Element!

Honda Element Forever

The Ultimate Versatility and Dependability of this Vehicle made me an Element Lifer !!! I maintain my vehicle religiously and will keep it Forever as it has sadly and foolishly been discontinued. In addition, I have all of the Camping Accessories. I have used it to transport large furniture, long fence posts, Great Danes and moving. Best and Favorite Vehicle of my life. Only liveable Bummer is the cost to replace Struts and Bushings, but Geographically, I Have to have Four Wheel Drive. Thanks Honda !!

Keep on trucking

My old gal just keeps on going and going. Have only had to replace the starter. Of course I keep up my regular maintenance. Will need to have some additional work soon, Struts and Idle Motor (surging problem) as she is reaching 125,000.

Roomy like a pick up truck when you remove the back seats Good on gas and low maintenance as long as you keep up with the general maintenance of the car and it will last longer than other Suv out there. I would buy a 2020 element if they have one.

Very fun and useful

Enjoy the many ways this Element can be used. Back seats can go on walls or come our easily. Vinyl like floor makes it easy to keep clean. Engine has enough power to keep you safe. Gas mileage is good.

The Honda Element is a fantastic automobile. You may, hopefully, buy mine at Hero Motors, Maine. It gets you there, and your stuff, in comfortably, for sure. When it needs to bring it, you can be sure it will take it. That's on the hills, the shore, the road, the shops...It's a wonder-car!

Best car we've ever bought

It disappoints us that Honda hasn't come out w/a comparable car since they discontinued the Element. We love everything about it, especially the no-carpet feature and the amount of storage space. It's definitely the most comfortable car we've ever had.

Vintage

I love my Honda Element. It's never seen the inside of a garage and at almost 20, it looks brand new. It's never let me down, and it's seen its share of the road! Love the cargo bay, the roomy interior, the ample dash and window view.

Can't wait to buy a 2022 when available.

Bought the Honda Element in 2002. It is a 2003 model. It is the EX model. I have installed a roof rack, mud flaps, drivers arm rest (a must have). I have 223000 mile on it and only replaced the starter, remote lock actuators, a window regulator, and had to have the ignition rekeyed, replaced the shocks and struts. The only item that bothers me is every Element with many miles has damaged driver seat seems torn. I would think by 2011 Honda could have fixed the problem.

Storage box on wheels

If you need to pick up stuff or move things or even people, this is a perfect car. It’s basically a box on wheels. It does seat four but you can take the seats out and put a lot of stuff in there. The ride is reasonably smooth.

bought new 250000 and still going not rasy to work on but videos help i hhsve hauled a small trailer, catering food, lumber for home projects cut grass and brush gone skiing never got stuck wicked fun behicle
