Always Courteous, Honest and They Get the Job Done
I consider myself lucky to live within walking distance of a great auto repair shop like Wayne Shell
. I'm able to just drop my car off for service and walk home in under 10 minutes. The convenience is great, sure, but more than that is the outstanding customer service there. The people at the counter are always courteous and welcoming. And they don't try to push unnecessary maintenance on you either. At my recent service visit, I explained that since I started working form home after the pandemic, I barely drive my car now. It's been years since I had an oil change, and the odometer was still well below the mileage at which point I was supposed to get one. I asked whether I should still get an oil change regardless-- and I was told it wasn't really needed. Another shop might have tried to take advantage of such a question, try to make some $$ by telling me I should get it changed-- but not the folks at Wayne Shell. I really appreciate that kind of honesty, especially as someone not super knowledgeable about automobiles. I also asked them to check my brakes after they took off my winter tires/rims, and after doing so, told me that the brakes were fine. Again-- another shop could have tried to sell me new brakes, and I would not have been the wiser. I trust them to take care of my car, and I recommend them to others.

Great mechanics. The waiting time is great. If it’s something that will take longer they let me know
in advance. Definitely the nicest auto shop I've ever been to. Honest, efficient, and prompt service always. Everyone that works there has great customer service. Their honesty is a blessing.

I appreciated the ability to get an appt within the same week. Drop off was easy. I didn’t get any
hard sells but rather a fair and reasonable price. This was my second visit there and both visits have been great. Work completed in a timely manner. Nothing fancy, just honest repair work.
