I am new to Athens and did not know what to expect when I took my auto to Up and Going Auto. I was pl
easantly surprised. Kirk the owner took me right in without an appointment. Jeff, the mechanic, surmised the problem immediately. 3 hours later I drove my car home after the right side rack and pinion was replaced at a very fair price. As a matter of fact, I am taking my auto back in tomorrow without hesitation to get their opinion on my overheating issue. This was a great service experience!! Traveling in the area and A/C broke down. They took my vehicle
in immediately, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired same day. Rick and his technician were very knowledgeable and experienced.

I owned my last truck for over 30 years, purchased new in 1980. Did most all repairs and maintenance
myself except for major work. I grew up in a machine/engine repair shop my dad operated. So I know good work when I see it. I'm a stickler for preventive maintenance and have a bit of OCD. My current truck, 2006 Dodge 5.9, I have owned for a little over 12 years now. I take very good care of it and I plan to have it last me the rest of my life. I don't let just anyone perform work on my truck, but I really trust Astin at Duer Automotive. He and two others are the only ones I will allow to touch a wrench to it.
