State inspection visit
I brought in my 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 for state safety inspection, it had passed inspection last year at a different shop, nothing had changed this year, however the inspector that looked at it this year had recently passed his test to be an inspector and really picked the truck apart and ended up failing it for multiple alleged safety deficiencies, only one of which presents a legitimate problem (worn pitman arm), the remaining alleged deficiencies seemed to be nitpicking.
