Shotty ass work!
My car began to smoke this past Sunday. Just had the water pump and a hose replaced the previous week. Today, Monday, I had someone look at it. They found a sponge laying near the thermostat, which is less than two years old. After investigating further, they found that the thermostat had cracked (most likely) when the water pump was changed and they just left the sponge to soak up the antifreeze/water.

The sponge is a noise dampner that is from the factory.  We noted on the order that the temp sensor was leaking which is part of that housing.  We had even replaced another hose for free to try to help her out when we did the water pump.  We let her know that there were several issues with the Exporer that are really going to start to cost a lot of money.  We want you know we are honest and will always tell you what is wrong with your vehicle.  We never try to hide a problem that just doesn't make business sense.

Able Auto RepairReview.
Able Auto Repair shop has to be the best Auto Shop in all of Pensacola. Over the years I have used several auto shops. without giving names, these other shops have overcharged me for services, and in many cases were dishonest in what they told me. This is not the case with Able Auto Repair. I started using Able Auto Repair since they opened several years ago.
They have always been honest. They always charge the correct price. They always provide excellent and speedy service. They will even give you a ride home if necessary. I do not see why anyone would use any other Auto shop.

I needed my truck back asap. They repaired it in a very timely matter and returned it in time.
They had to order part twice because wrong part came in, but they were able to get my truck back to me when I needed it.

Great Shop
I bring my works entire fleet of 14 vehicles to Able Auto Repair whenever we need maintenance or have vehicle problems. I have been going to them for the past 3 years and have been extremely impressed. Paul and Sara are great and are very knowledgeable. The mechanics know what they are doing and are quick with repairs. Great job Able Auto.

Sandra said she asked them to change her battery cable, and she does not think they did it, that it was forgotten about. She had corrosion on her battery and got a new battery and still had a corrosion issue. She was told to change the cable. She requested that over the phone not when asking for the initial service.
