I had an initial estimate for a repair done and they said they would call me once the parts were in bring the car in. After a couple weeks I hadn't heard anything so I called. They said the guy who did the estimate didn't work there anymore and didn't leave any notes so it would be another couple weeks. When I finally dropped it off (a month after the accident), they said it would be 10 business days to finish. They kept pushing this back, every week the estimate said it would be done "next week." After my car had been there for a month, they called to say they had a flood and my car had been submerged in sewer water. It was a total loss. They offered no help whatsoever, just told me to call my insurance company and file another claim. It's been a nightmare and it will probably be weeks before I get the claim settled, and then I have to buy a new car which I really didn't want to do this year. If the repairs had been done in a timely manner, it wouldn't have been in the shop in the first place and wouldn't have gotten destroyed.
