Hi, Thanks for the review. I will be happy to reply to your concerns. I have never hidden from the fact that when parts prices are discussed I point out that retail automotive repair shops are the highest parts price option. Of course it is easy to find parts online that cost less. While these prices appear to be high to you please keep in mind that the only two products that shops have to offer are labor and parts and both must be profitable in order to stay solvent. We do not discuss our profit margins on either. I have always thought that to be an inapprorpiate topic and our confidential information is not for public consumption. I hope you can appreciate that. However, I will say that the margins you mention in your review are completely inacurate and in no way are close to reality. Along with the price you pay for the part comes the warranty we offer on that product. Parts supplied to the shop by customers have no warranty and make the repair job less attractive to any repair shop as this makes our ability to make a living much more difficult.
On the matter of trust I do not understand your comment. You came to our shop for a diagnosis on your vehicle and were furnished an estimate we will honor. If you do not like the price I agree you should shop arond and check out all of your options and find a repair facility that you are comfortable with. Our shop strives to proved excellent service but we are not for everyone. I was out of town when you visited and I wish I had been here in person to address your concerns. Lastly, if your intention is to move on I wish you the best and thank you for giving us a try. I would also apprecite you paying for the diagnosis on the vehicle as this repair order is open and the technician is getting paid for his time.
