This dealer has absolutely no intention of giving you what you pay for.
Bought a 2007 Holden Rodeo with 202025 k's on the clock . A week later got busted for speeding when I knew I wasn't speeding . I bought and fitted a GPS to test the speedo and it came up 10% slower than my actual speed. I asked the dealer for assistance and was accused of changing the wheel /tyre size in order to make the speedo misread . Even if that were true, that, of course, wouldn't explain why the odometer still read 202025 k's after I drove it a week. When I persisted the manager told me there is no Statutory warranty on light commercial vehicles anyway. ( I wasn't after a warranty repair but a review of the safety certificate). And that is lie number two.
He suggested I go to his regular auto electrician to have the speedo checked. (at my own expense, of course).I did so and I told my story to the electrician who sympathized and removed the speedo so I could take it to an instrument repairer . The instrument repairer told me the speedo could be fixed but warned me it had been tampered with and he couldn't guarantee a completely accurate speedo. ( I have no idea who could have tampered with it . Have you?)
I got the odometer working by changing the speed sensor on the gearbox and now the speedo and the odometer work well . Excluding the price of a GPS , My bill is up to $640.00. PS: I still don't know what other stuff doesn't work on the car but the fact that the safety certificate is dodgy to say the least , I don't even know if the car has working airbags. Steer clear of this business.
