I had ordered clear glass sliding rear window for my ranger xlt. The day arrived for the appointment. He arrived on time and started working on getting my rear window out. In the process he destroyed my interior cover snap on buttons. He couldn't get them off so he just broke them off. I wondered if this guy had any experience with installing auto glass ? When he finally removed the rear window and got the new one out to install, the glass was tinted when I had specifically ordered a clear glass window. I complained but the old window was already out. He did mutter something about reinstalling the old window and he would come back next week with a clear glass - but the damage was already done. He had destroyed my interior lining and came with the wrong window. I was frustrated and pee'd at their incompetence, so I just wanted to get it done and so told him just to go ahead and install the tinted window.
This company was recommended by another company, Trick Trucks, and I believed the guy so I went with his recommendation - never again. I wonder if they have a quid-pro-quo thing going.
Autoglassfitters price was lower than two other companies I checked with, .. But as they say, " you get what you pay for."
