Customer was notified about the minor scratches on the vehicle. We (Mr. Karve and Baytown Hyundai) came to an agreement that we would provide a paint pen to Mr. Karve since he lives out of town from us and he was happy with this agreement. At no time did we agree to fix the scratches. It wasn't until this survey came in to Baytown Hyundai that we were aware of Mr. Karve wanting to have it repainted. The customer cas gone back on the agreement that we had.
The Sales Consultant did make the customer aware of the scratches on the vehicle. Since the customer lives out of of the area from us, we (Baytown Hyundai and the customer) agreed to provide him with a paint pen. At no time did we agree to repaint anything on this vehicle for the customer. It wasn't until the survey came in to us that we were aware of the issue of the customer backing out of the agreement that we made for the paint pen.
