No service after the Sale
Two years ago I purchased a Hyundai Tucson from Blaze Alexander in State College. for 2 years things went ok with the free 7,500 mile services. Then on July 14th 2022 I went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I also had a seat cover that was broken and wanted to know if it was covered under warranty. During the service I was told I needed a new cabin filter. When I asked the cost I was told $26.00. I had looked these up on line and that price was in line with what I saw on line. I figured I'd be paying maybe $45.00 for the installation as it's only a 5 minute job. I was completely blown away when I was told it cost $91.00. When I questioned the cost I was told they use a "special "fragrance" on the filter when in actuality they sprayed Febreze on it. There was also like a $30.00 charge for installation...for a 5 minute job. I admit i was angry about being suckered into paying that bill but when I went out to me car I noticed 2 large scratches on my passenger door. This was eventually buffed out to my satisfaction. My broken seat panel was under warranty and I wanted to come back and have my car gets it's free inspection after the part arrived. I received an email on July 23rd telling me my part arrived. I called the 25th to confirm it was there and was told someone would call me later that day to schedule it in. After numerous unanswered calls made by me and 3 weeks later no one from Blaise Alexander ever called me back. Not only did I have to get me vehicle inspected someplace else I had to take a day off work to drive down to get the part and install it myself. After that i knew I'd never go back to that dealership again.
