Two problems at one time

I took my 2018 Ram 1500 in for an Evap check engine light and a cooling system leak. They found a cracked piece of plastic Ram put behind the thermostat. Why do the manufacturers put plastic parts on an engine knowing they will crack and break? They found an aluminum replacement part so I will not have to worry about that again. Found the leak in the evap system so now I can fill my gas tank without holding the handle. Great people and great work. Only place I take my cars.
