Brought car in with water leak received phone call $1,600 estimate was told to proceed. Was told to pick up car next day $2,149. 33% increase no call no questions no explanation except poor estimate. Car was leaking worse after so-called repair. Man kept car two extra weeks telling me needed certain part. After 2 weeks was told it was an old hose not what was diagnosed. Extra $100 out of my pocket. $1,600 estimate for a radiator and what goes with it such as hoses and other labor turned into $2,250 and loss of my vehicle for 2 weeks. Air conditioner was not working suggested Car Works may be responsible. Needless to say after all of the previous mistakes of poor estimates poor second diagnosis and faulty repairs this man was offended I suggested he made a mistake. Tried to charge me $322 extra for air conditioner repair when I complained the man cursed me out and told me I am not welcome there anymore but he wasn't going to charge me the extra $322. Needless to say one month later air conditioner stopped working again. The man made so many mistakes on this project and cursing me out when I suggested he may have made a mistake after he made three or four major ones is unconscionable. $1,600 estimate for 5 hours of work turned into two weeks and 40% more money and loss of use of my vehicle. And the man has the nerve to tell me I have a problem. If you want to find that old man just listen for where the cursing is coming from in the shop
