I flew from Los Angeles to Richmond to purchase a hard to find model and drove it back to LA. To make a long story short, despite Colonial Honda performing a VA vehicle safety inspection and passing it, I took the car to my mechanic a week after I purchased it and was told it needs $1295 in repairs. All of the items which need repaired or replaced were items which were suppose to have been checked during the safety inspection. (If you google "VA vehicle safety inspection" you'll find a list of what's suppose to be inspected.) When I emailed their General Manager, he replied with 1. their Honda certified mechanics inspected the vehicle and 2. you bought the car as is. Do not purchase a used car from them!
