Excellent Quality & Customer Service
CarStar Fairfax Collision Center did a great job repairing my vehicle after I hit a deer. The staff kept me informed throughout the repairs on my vehicle. Madeline, Barbara, Jasmine and Ryan Vallejo were extremely kind and attentive to my concerns with my vehicle. They finished my vehicle before the estimated finish time and ensured that I was satisfied with my repairs. I highly recommend them!

Poor communication

Go anywhere else to have your vehicle repaired.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone. The actual repair work itself was done to the quality you would expect; however, when I received my outback back there was extensive damage to my interior from the backs of my front seats all the way to the hatch. My outback is a 2014 so, of course, you would expect there to be some scuffs and marks on the inside but when I started inspecting it I found scratches, divets, dents, grease marks, more scuff marks, damaged leather on my doors, and a broken hatch storage handle. I called the manage that same evening when I found the damage and took my vehicle back to the Collision Shop as soon as possible and addressed this directly with the manager, who was completely dismissive about my concerns. I only heard back from the operations manager when I finally completed my online survey requested by the insurance company and there was still no resolution to the damage of my vehicle even after speaking to him.

When the vehicle was brought back to the shop the interior damages were reviewed and photographed.  Upon comparing the pictures with original drop off pictures it was determined that the interior scuffs and scratches were pre-existing.  Photos were reviewed with Ms. Vitti and she left the shop.  Later Ms. Vitti was offered an interior clean up and replacement of the broken handle that was not photographed as a courtesy.  She declined the offer and stated she would get the work done somewhere when she returned to North Carolina.

Well the communication was good and the visual inspection good. However, the car drives differently than when we drove it in for repair. I don't know if it was damaged or jolted when it was being repaired but our brand new car that drove fine when we dropped it off has a slight vibration you can now feel in your hands and body that would be fatiguing on long trips. We bought this car specifically for comfortable long drives. I would rather have a dented car than one that does not drive comfortably. I expect the worst as the car would not have been prepared for pick up if the repair shop didn't think it was ready. It looks fine but drives differently. I don't know if some piece was not put on well or a dampening piece left off or something happened when the body was repaired...this will be difficult to isolate and a major inconvenience to deal with....we hope it will and can be fixed. Otherwise a brand new car will no longer be usable for our intended travel, our old Subaru drives without a vibration but does not have the safety features we wanted. I must note, the car was fine as I drove it over 600 miles to bring it in for repair. We are returning the car today.

$2,000+ door ding
Some entitled idiot man dinged my door and then tried to ignore my ask for repairs. My estimator Brian jumped on it like I was his fam!! He worked with Geico (idiot door dingers insurance) to get me every penny I was owed plus 2 weeks worth of car rental fees while my vehicle was being repaired. This place is fantastic!!
