Unsatisfied with work and management
I would not recommend this business to anyone. Went there 1st time in November, 2023 with engine running problem and found and replaced starter. Then car was okay until January, 2024. Reverse gear quit working. Had it towed to them. They checked in out and Pablo said it was the Safety neutral switch. They couldn't find one from their local vendors so I found one online. Then it got here from out of state and it didn't work. Then they said it was the transaxle with the problem. Again they couldn't or said they couldn't find one local so Pablo asked me if I could find one and I did with a company in Georgia which in turn got it from Michigan. Ordered part on 2/19/ 2024 and it got here on the 29th of February much later than promised. I talked to Pablo on Thursday after part arrived and he said he would not be back until Monday. He and Gannus said it was possible that Carlos and Jesus could work on it on Friday and Saturday and they did. I called Saturday after 4PM and it was not ready but almost. So Gannus checked with mechanic and said it was good to go. I explained to him I had no way to come get it as we talked before about possibly one of them could pick me up about 6 miles away. He talked to Max and Max gave him the approval. There was still a problem with a leak that they were finishing with when I got there. Left with car about 6Pm after getting I believe overcharged. They closed at 5PM. They charged me 10 hours of labor which I feel like it did not take that long plus other stuff they should not have. Oil change charge was okay. They always said they would call me update on car since 2/19 but they never, never did. I always called them from beginning to end. They had my phone # wrong to begin with but my # is in phone book. Even when I told them correct # they didn't call. Max definitely is not a friendly manager like walking around like he don't know what's going on. Cameron did good with the starter but rest of staff rate F- in my opinion. I would expect Max to credit my account with at least 1/2 what they charged me. $962.00 is 1/2. Looking forward to seeing it returned but I know it probably won't. BTW how did Max get to be a manager? Not too good with customers. No I'm not satisfied with their work nor attitudes nor business practices. It takes 1 day to get my money back in my account. Of course I won't go back there nor recommend to no one. My car was a Buick Skylark.
