HORRIBLE EXPIERENCE

I am writing this review in hopes to reach future buyers in El Paso, TX, to inform them of the practices of this dealership, Genesis Of El Paso. 7 months ago, me and my wife went to Genesis Of El Paso to speak to them about a 2021 Genesis GV80. We test drove one, we like it, but we wanted the top of the line GV80 which they didn't have at the time. So, we had to order a GV80 Genesis. Initially the sales rep and GM told us that we didn't have to put any money down, But that quickly changed not even a week later. They stated that it was a high demand for that type of vehicle and that in order for the one we ordered not to be sold to someone else, that we had to put down a $1,000.00, which we did with no problem. But yet, if there was such a demand for that type of vehicle, then why did they just order the one that we ordered? They initially told us that because we had a high end luxury truck, which was a 2020 Dodge Ram Limited 5.7 Hemi twin turbo truck, that they were going to offer $58,000.00 for my trade, which I was ok with that amount. But it seemed like as each week that passed, that amount went from $58,000.00 to $55,000.00 to $53,000.00 to $50,000.00 and finally to $48,000.00, all those changes were within a month, before the one we ordered even showed up. Those who know about Dodge Ram Limited Trucks, know that the MSRP is about $73,000.00. Especially for a truck that I only had for one year with only 900 miles on it. So, when the GV80 finally showed up at the dealership, Not only did they order the wrong color of the interior, but they changed the amount of my trade in that same day. At that point, I knew that they were trying to screw me over, they wanted to add as much money to the new vehicle from my trade, so that they could make a killing off of selling my vehicle as well as them selling me their GV80 after financing. After I told them that I wanted my money back, the sales rep stated that I had to speak to their GM. I told him that, he was the one that took my money, why do I need to go speak to someone else, He had no answer other then it was out of his hands. So the next day, I went to the GM and told him that I wasn't going to leave until he gave me my $1,000.00 back! He initially told me that he didn't have the cash, that I would have to wait about 2 weeks to get my money back, which I wasn't having that! They tried to come up with every excuse they could, but I got my money back, that afternoon. We then went to Scottsdale Arizona later that afternoon and I had purchased a 2021 Mercedes Benz 300 4 mattic. And Mercedes of Scottsdale gave me $60,000.00 for my truck. So, what does that tell you about Genesis of El Paso?? Now, I just traded my 2021 Mercedes Benz after only having it for 7 months in for a 2022 Lexus RX 350 F Sport with the executive package. I am so glad that there are still dealerships out there that treat you like your supposed to be treated, not like Genesis of El Paso! Even after I reported the GM and sales rep from Genesis of El Paso of our experience to corporate office, the GM wouldn't let us test drive any vehicles, which their internet manager called us up and told us to come in and test drive one of their vehicles later around 2 weeks after. These are the games that this dealership plays and how they try and take advantage of people. I know that this review is long,
I JUST DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY GENESIS OF EL PASO!
