I want to respond to Tom's review. First I want to thank Tom for his business past and present. I am sorry that this situation has happened. In PA we are required to test all vehicles with check engine lights on or off when presented for emissions inspection. Vehicles must past the IM test to be able to affix a safety sticker. This vehicle was brought in on the 30th of the month, At this time we were extremely busy with inspections and service work. Tom's truck failed emissions due to a few evap codes. When I called Tom about the failed emissions inspection, he said he would pick it up. I explained the procedure to reset the readiness monitors so he would pass the emissions test. This would require a extensive drive cycle at 55 mph for an extended amount of time . Usually we drive them for about 10 to 20 miles on Rte 95 and then do stop and go traffic. Some vehicles require a second drive cycle to set all necessary monitors. As far as the oil change, we didn't have time to finish it because it was late in the day and Tom wanted to pick the vehicle up. He brought the vehicle back a few days later and never mentioned the oil change or his displeasure with the service. The vehicle passed both the emissions inspection and the safety inspections and we affixed both stickers at no additional charge. As you can see by our satisfied customers we try to accommodate all our customer as the best that we can, However, we are only human and sometime misunderstands happen. I consider this a reminder as to why it is important to listen to customer and make sure we are on the same page with regards to procedures and work to be done. Hopefully, this adds another view of what happened.
