"Recent Service Experience"
Best as can be expected...limited choice of service centers in Bay Area...really enjoyed the Burlingame site and the people there. Not the same a Serramonte...appears lots of overcrowding with autos. One hopes service not affected by site of volume at this site.

"Service as expected"
I brought my vehicle in for a maintenance service and manufacturer service campaign. The service advisor stated the car would be ready within 2 hours, and I met a friend at a nearby restaurant for lunch. Within the 2 hour window I received a text from the service advisor that the vehicle was ready.

"Good service "
The service person, David did more than excellent job to help us. He took us to near by place with his own car when he learned no shuttle for 2 hours.
He was the only person worked whole time when I was in the waiting area. The other 4 persons seem to be very relaxed. There was etreemly tuner in the printer, my receipt can not even readable. The person hand me the paper work does not say a thing. Others just sit there. These people should be more motivated and skillful to help customers.

"Oscar was Fantastic!"
Before Oscar, I did not want to return to Hyundai of Serramonte because my prior experience....about 3 or so years ago, was not a good one. Your records will show that I did not come back for the 15,000 mile check up.
Oscar was professional, got the job done in an hour, and was polite. I appreciate that kind of service!!!!
Not because of service, but I am unsure about recommending the lease program to anyone.

"Timeliness needs improvement"
Overall timeliness needs improvement and better communication between advisers/ check out desk and shuttle drivers is needed. Don't tell a customer that the driver will call you and not send the driver your phone number.

"It was fine"
The reception upon arrival was very nice, greeted by two gentlemen and was assisted promptly. Was provided timeline of how long services will take overall (2hrs) which I expected and I confirmed I would wait for the car once completed. Unfortunatley I did not recevie a notification call to advise that my car was ready for pick up. I returned to the dealership 3 1/2 hours later to see the car parked and waiting . I've only serviced my car 2x since it was purchased . Hope this doesn't continue as this location is close to home and would like to continue to receive services here.

"Unhappy customer was significantly overcharged for car battery"
My car was having issues starting so I brought it into Hyundai of Serramonte. Though the staff were friendly, I was told that I needed a new battery and it would cost $400. I'm new to car ownership and thought this sounded quite high for a battery, but the staff member assured me that this battery was specialized to my model and that I could only purchase it through Hyundai. In a pinch, I decided to trust his guidance- I learned my mistake. After some posthumous research, I discovered that this battery was nothing special and I was charged 3-4x the amount of the many other potential vendors that I could have purchased it from. This experience put such a bad taste in my mouth that I will not be returning for future services or repairs and will likely seek other manufacturers when I buy my next car.

"Car not taken care of"
I went in for a basic oil change and was talked into stating that I needed at least $300 worth of service for a 2017 brand new car. Absurd. But was told that I will not be within my warranty if I do not get this astronomical service. After my service was complete my car had a new nail in the tire. Which added even more time to my visit. Unacceptable.
