Repair looked good but repainted hood lost clear coat
I had a pretty good fender bender in my Honda Civic. They use to be on State Farm’s list for certified collision center. I’ve always took my cars here when I’ve had an accident. Never had a problem, even this repair look very good. But a couple of years after the repair the hood of my car clear coat began flaking off. On the contract they give you they state that they will always stand good for their work as long as I own the car, except for rust. Well this is not rust, I even took the car to them and had them look at it. They pulled the invoice and said yes we repainted the hood. Told me it was bad paint and even said they had experience problems with other cars of the same color. Told me hey we will fix your car, we will be calling you to bring it in. Well I was very satisfied that hey here’s a company that really means what they put in writing. But 2 years later and all I get ever time I call is we been to busy to work you in. BS! To doge a they just told me what they should do not what they’re gonna do. Probably hoping I’d sell the car but the car had low mileage and I plan to keep it for a good while. I’ll go ahead and pay for their mistake but never never take another car to them!
