Honest, kind, fair and efficient
Just picked up my very old Honda Accord after sending it to this shop last night. It was a referral from the towing company. The shop owner and staff were very nice and communicated very well. Initial diagnosis was done at Autozone and the shop accepted to go by that. In the process of replacing the part that was supposed to be defective (crankshaft position sensor), the mechanic noticed that the wires to this part were damaged by the wearing serpentine belt. I knew for weeks that I had to take care of this belt but I did not know it can damage wires around it.
So they called me to tell me that and before they tried any work. They fixed the damaged wires, sensor turned out to be ok and they were going to charge a fraction of what we agreed on. I then asked them to change the serpentine belt. The old Honda is back to normal and I am a happy owner. Our budget is very tight right now so this positive experience with this particular mechanic shop was my first one and a very memorable one. I have been doing all my car repair in our garage including some very sophisticated stuff. The reason is I really enjoyed it as a physical and mental exercise, learning is the best thing for our brain. But the other reason is to avoid being screwed by shady mechanics like the ones that ripped us off in the past. Now, I know again that I can come to this shop and trust them 100% without hesitation.

Honest Mechanic
Got my AC compressor replaced at Lancer Garage last summer. Started having AC problems this summer and I was really worried because it was an expensive repair and I thought I’d have to pay for a new compressor again. Lancer Garage took my car in and replaced the compressor free of charge under warranty and now I have really nice cold air again. Thank you!

Perfect place for auto repair!
I have been to Lancer Garage twice. Both times I found them to be incredibly helpful, thorough and professional! I was just passing through Salt Lake City and had a need for car repair. They saw me right away and I was able to get back on the road immediately. Wish I didn’t live 800 miles away! If I lived in SLC I would have all my car maintenance and repairs done there . Great people and very honest!
