They are completely dishonest thieves
I called because I was feeling the floor under my feet and from my refrigerator that it felt warm. So I automatically assume something was wrong with the refrigerator. I did not do a deep enough dive into their history and reviews, lesson learned.
I called on a Monday to have them come over and look at my refrigerator. The guy represented himself as the owner, he didn’t even pull the refrigerator out and said I needed a compressor fan. Keep in mind this was on a Monday. He said they would have to bring the part over from one of their other locations and they would be there on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Stupid me I went ahead and paid him the full $500. Electronically paid him there on the site and I did not get a receipt at that moment. Yes, dummy me and I’m old enough to know better.
Well, on Tuesday morning, when I came downstairs to the kitchen, the floor was warm all the way across and when I turned on the kitchen faucet, the water came out scalding hot. Obviously it was not the refrigerator. So keep in mind this is Tuesday morning after they were out on Monday, said they would be back on Thursday. I called them and told them to cancel the appointment because there’s nothing wrong with the refrigerator.
Turns out there was a broken hot water pipe under the concrete slab in my kitchen floor that I had to have Jack hammered out and the entire floor replaced that cost me $18,000.
So having obviously bigger fish to fry at that point, I did not contact them for a couple more days after I called them on the Tuesday morning to cancel
They decided to tell me that it was not refundable, and that I had paid for the part and that the part was mine. I mean, who needs an air compressor fan sitting around in their garage for a refrigerator? Certainly not me.
I told the person that I was obviously more than happy to pay for the $125 service fee since he did come out
But no, they kept trying to sneak this part to deliver to my house. And I kept avoiding them until one day. My husband was out in the front yard, and their guy snuck up and said I have a delivery and my husband didn’t know any better and he took it.
So yes, I had the part in hand I did not open the part. A couple days later I did get a check in the mail for $129 which they said was for the refund for the second service fee. Along with the receipt in which they highlighted that you had to give them 24 hours notice before a cancellation or you would be charged full price.

I hope you’re keeping up with us, because keep in mind. I called them on Monday to come out, call them on Tuesday to cancel because I had a major plumbing break, they were supposed to come out on Thursday, but the receipt clearly said they wanted 24 hours notice before a cancellation so in my calculations Tuesday is way inside that 24 hour rule. I actually went onto my cell phone statement and highlighted every time I called their phone number, the last time I called her phone number was clearly on Tuesday morning until I called them again the following week.
So long story short, maybe not, I have this part, and I have this check for $129. I’ve photographed every bit of evidence, photographed the floor as it was being destroyed in front of the refrigerator, I have the thermal images showing where the hot water pipe was broken, Phone records, I returned the part to them, and I have the post office receipt that it had to be signed for, and that they did receive it, I marked their check voided and returned it to them.
I called maybe six weeks later and said where’s my refund. The. DooDa that answered the phone said oh well that case has been closed and cleared out. At this point, dealing with the whole experience of my kitchen being jackhammered up, in conjunction with a serious family emergency, I was willing to take my losses and I said well just send me back the $129 check. They would not even do that.!!!!

I still have the entire file that at this point I’m not sure if I could even still take it to small claims or to the attorney general. I’m sure I could but it’s been a year and a half.
I just want people to be aware of how shady and pathetic this company is
If you see a positive review, it’s probably their aunt or uncle saying nice things about them

I did report them to the Better Business Bureau. And I’ve tried to post information to every place. I can think of for someone else not to be taken advantage of these thieves like this.
