First I want to say that the customer brought our shop a basket case ARB Bumper system that a body shop had for three weeks and could not install it because they did not read the instructions according to the customer. This vehicle was in a fender bender and may have some unibody/frame horn damage and we had to make adjustments accordingly.
The vehicle had the bumper partially installed and parts were scattered about in his car. Second of all no ARB bumper is easily installed because you have to hog out the holes to make alignment possible. plus you have to lay out the templates provided and cut the original plastic bumper to have the grill and shaping of the old bumper before installing the ARB bumper which we did according to the instructions. Customer only gave us two days to install it and was rushing us until the last minute.
He seemed very happy when he paid and left the shop. He did come back the next day to go through the old bumper parts and never complained then either. We charged $900 to install the system at a flat price and we also had over 15 hours installing it. If customer was so unsatisfied, Why did he not call me. I believe he should call and talk to me about this.
