I drove 280 miles to purchase a "pre-owned" car with very low mileage at Park Place Volvo that was sold to me as new since it was a "demonstration" car. They claimed it was checked and nothing was wrong with it. I then had to schedule a service appointment at my local Volvo dealership 3 days later because the car would shake in the highway and whenever I applied the brakes. They ended up informing me that the rotors were warped with extensive wear and had to be replaced. The car did not stop shaking/rattling so a few months later I took it in again and a bent wheel/rim was found to be causing the problem. The dealership says that I have to pay for it since there is no way of knowing if that is how I had it when I bought it. The car has been shaking since I bought it. Gerry L. from Garland, TX, I started a formal complaint to Volvo, the manufacturer, recently so feel free to comment on here if you would like to potentially discuss and let Volvo know what these guys are up to.
