Last month I went in to have my lift gate serviced. At the end of the day they charged me 1,000.00. I asked, "riddle me this, how could a 100.00 part that I could have replaced myself, cost 1,000.00" he said "because you didn't do it yourself. I just smiled (knowing they got me). Last week I took mi renegade in due to a check engine light on. At the end of the day, another 400.00. he said he changed the battery but the check engine light is due to a bad thermostat. I told him that there was nothing wrong with the battery. He said after 4 years they go bad. I said I didn't bring it in for preventative maintenance and I realize it's not his fault, it's Jeep. He started saying "it's owned by a Christian family" whatever that means. BEWARE!
