The office staff — specifically the two white women who work at the front — were shockingly rude, both over the phone and in person. Rather than listening to valid concerns, they resorted to mocking, laughing, and using condescension as a form of conversational defense. I came in expecting service, not disrespect and humiliation.
I was referred to this shop by my insurance after a collision — a decision I deeply regret. When I picked up my vehicle, the repairs were blatantly incomplete. Paint scratches were still visible across an entire panel. The middle section of the left rear passenger door was not properly reinstalled, allowing air to enter the cabin at speeds over 30 MPH. It wasn’t until I drove off that I noticed the wind noise — and later discovered water entering the cabin during rain due to improper insulation and sealing.
It gets worse. My personally owned vehicle magnets — which I had safely stored in the console at drop-off — were missing upon pick-up. Stolen. And trash was left in my car, along with a layer of dust and dirt that covered every inch of my leather interior. Additionally, the team failed to reinstall my official vehicle emblems, and when I tried to inspect the vehicle before leaving, I noticed the rear seats were dropped down and the latching mechanism had been jammed. Instead of helping me, a staff member criticized me for not fixing it myself.
To top it all off, it took them over 20 days just to bring my car back in to correct their own sloppy workmanship — and that was only after I raised the issue the very day I picked it up. During those 20 days, I was treated with the same rudeness and indifference by the same staff members.
This business has no regard for professionalism, customer service, or ethical practices. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I’ve already submitted a formal complaint to my insurance company urging them to remove Schumacher Collision WPB from their list of recommended repair shops.
If you’re considering bringing your vehicle here: don’t.
I should’ve trusted the other negative reviews — they were right. Save yourself the headache, the disrespect, and the wasted time. Find a shop that knows how to treat people — and vehicles — with care.
