My husband took my car to you today. My car has been to Star 3 times for paint in last 20 yrs. Rear ended twice and 1 time for damage from another business damaging it and the repair was done by Star. I was told the paint was lifetime but when the clearcoat bubbled and the paint then started to go they told me no warranty as they were pre-painted parts, no warranty. Well I had no idea as the first accident was when my car was 2 weeks old, why would you buy garbage for it. Same with 2nd accident at 2 yrs old. Jump forward, my car was just backed into by a truck and now needs 2 body parts and a full paint job because of Star. We went in to get a quote after getting one from anothet shop in town, today and first, they refused to give us a quote, 2nd, then said if part is not available it will be totalled, 3rd, he proceeds to tell us oh we would warranty the clear-coat but that's all. Oh and $20,000 to paint my car after we pushed for the blue book cost. That is $14,000 more than the other reputable shop we are going with, with full lifetime warranty. Star your reputation is going down fast, I thought you would be painting my other car, a full restoration but you won't be painting anything of mine again.
