Poor service dont go here
I went to this shop because my mother recommended it. She used them years back and was very satisfied. I read the reviews on their website and online and they seemed to be legit. When I first reached out I was very pleased Larry was very helpful and made me feel really comfortable. He gave me the price I'd be paying (well at least I thought) weighed out my options on a used or new transmission etc. I dropped my car off at the shop on Febuary 21st, I was told the turn around time would be 2-3 days. Hadn't heard anything from them until about 2 days after I dropped my car off which is fine they are busy I get it. So they didnt start working on my car until the 23rd. Days go by haven't heard anything in ref to my vehicle so I finally decide to reach out this is on MARCH 1ST and ask whats going on because I hadn't heard anything. Larry told me they sent a transmission that was cracked so he had to send it back (all of our correspondence is going on through text message because when I called I was not able to get anyone) when he told me this I asked him what the turn around would be, no response. So again the waiting game MARCH 8TH rolls around still no type of follow up from Larry or anyone at suns transmission so I reach out again and he tells me that all of the transmissions he has been sent were in bad condition he is waiting for another one which would be in on that Friday or the following Monday. At this point they already had taken the other trans. Out so I had no choice but to wait. Of course I'm frustrated its been weeks with no transportation having to catch rides to and from work. Their customer service is horrible and communication SUCKS. They finally start the installation on MARCH 14TH I get my car back on the 18th. When i get my car back all these dash lights are on which were not on before i tell Larry about it he tells me to bring the car back they will check it out u take it back 2 days later he tries to tell me that they have nothing to do with it and proceeds to show me where they worked on my car which is very much so where the problem was so they ended up fixing the problem because I wasn't going for what he told me. I now have an issue with my transmission range sensor my vehicle was still under the warranty informed larry take ot back to him he says what i was told is not the issue and its something else, but i took it to Dodge jeep to get it looked at and they said this was the issue and Larry refused to fix it. He told me it was something else and if I buy the part they will fix it for free. At this point I am over that place of business I would rather pay the extra money, have it done right then to deal their B.S. what I was told and my experience were completely different I will never refer anyone to go here. He made me feel like I didn't know what I was talkin about I almost felt like I needed to bring a man with me so I could actually get some type of respect. The way he acted was very shady he tried to play the nice guy role but I have great discernment and I can read you a mile away. If you would have kept the communication open maybe I'd feel different about my experience, you all had my vehicle over a month and not once was there an apology for the hold up. The amount you told me I'd have to pay and what I paid was completely different and higher then what I told you I was originally told which is the reason I decided to go through you all in the first place. I'm truly unhappy with this company maybe your service was excellent back in the day but for me it was poor.
