Babylon Honda Took Advantage of a Senior
***RIP OFF ALERT*** DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BABYLON HONDA!!!
(Read below for a deeper reason to buy your next car somewhere else!)

My 82 year old father leased a 2021 Honda Pilot EX through Babylon Honda on July 30, 2022. My father assumed Babylon Honda was an ethical and a community based dealership - He was terribly WRONG. Babylon Honda then proceeded to lease him a USED 2021 Honda Pilot EX with 10,916 miles on it for a "Agreed Upon Value of Vehicle" of $49,223.31.

Working with others in the car industry who agreed that this price was significantly over inflated, I was able to pull up the original MSRP of the 2021 Honda Pilot EX, which was $38,455.00. This means my father paid a full $10,768.31 above the cost of this vehicle when it was new.

Additionally, I pulled the fair market value of the 2021 Honda Pilot EX he leased, which came out to $37,230. This means my father paid a full $11,993.31 more than the current fair market value of the vehicle. Totally unethical!

After speaking with Ron (the General Manager) he tried to explain that it is not unusual for car dealerships to make $10,000 - $12,000 on every car since there is less volume and they have to make a profit on individual cars. He also explained that if 4 people bought the same vehicle that each person would pay a different price. Lastly, he told me that my father agreed to the this price. At the end, Ron from Babylon Honda, took several days to review, "reach out to the bank," but ultimately chose to disconnect without correcting the problem as I contacted Honda Corporate officials to notify them of this issue. I also mentioned that I would be contacting the BBB, Consumer Affairs, and the Attorney General to investigate this unethical behavior.

DO NOT TRUST BABYLON HONDA as they are unethical and took advantage of my 82 year old father.
