Happy with my service experience at West Herr Expree on 8120 Main St., Wslmv., NY
I needed a car inspection and oil change and was going to go the dealership located on Transit Road, near Klein in Williamsville.. However, they did not have any open appointments, and the scheduler asked if I wanted to go to the West Herr Express. When I found out it was located much closer to me, I was happy to take an appointment there.
My experience with the staff was pleasant. They were all polite even though I was upset by what their inspection revealed. It wasn't exactly "what" but more of "who" caused the finding. Apparently a rodent had chewed almost through the cabin filter behind the glove box. I was distraught and visibly upset as we recently had a problem with a rodent infestation in our Village of Sloan. Erie County Health Dept. took care of that, but the last thing I wanted hear the day of my inspection was anything about a rodent.
The staff was very understanding even though I pretty much insisted that was not the filter from my car (I just didn't want to believe it). However, it was indeed from my car. When I finally could compose myself and accept the facts, I paid for the replacement and my other services. But the whole point of my sharing this experience is to let people know these guys who work at this location are very understanding and patient. They were so kind to me and understood why I got so upset. Also, although I was willing to get a tire rotation based on time from last rotation, they told me I did not need one yet (I have extremely low milage as I don't drive much). For me, this is the mark of an honest, reputable service shop when they don't try to sell you things that aren't truly necessary. Kudos guys!
