23 kona

i like the kona, but there are a few issues that bother me. the beeping and lowering of the music when within a foot of the lane line is highly annoying and it took me awhile to get used to 'lane-assist as it feels like the car is trying to pull the steering wheel out of my hands.

Hyundai Stands the Test of Time

I don't recall the year, but my first Hyundai was an Excel. I bought it new from a local dealership in Lakeland, FL. I've owned and driven Hyundai ever since. Over the course of these over two decades of customer loyalty, Hyundai has continuosly produced more and more superior vehicles as well as provided a level of service, features, models, and dependability that has stood the test of time. I would be hard-pressed to find a reason to look anywhere else for my transportation needs. Hyundai is the brand that has truly stood the test of time for me.

Hated the switch off feature

The automatic switch off feature determined the decision not to re lease Hyundai . When I stopped even though if it was on a hill the shutoff feature happened. I could not deal with it. My previous Tucson and 2021 Kona did not have the feature. The 2023 Kona did. I traded 6 Months before lease end for a Mazda without the shutoff

Awesome car!

I leased my Kona from 2023-2025. I traded it in for an Elantra which I am extremely unhappy with. The Kona was the BEST car I have had. I was so happy woth it. I traded it in only to decrease my car payments for the Elantra. The Kona was so comfortable (unlike the Elantra), got great mileage, super comfortable seats, awesome dash, great on mileage and a super smooth ride! I miss it everyday!

Cut off at stop poor gas mileage just dont like it. Any more check this check that brake for no reason. Happen on freway

I wish I had kept my 2020 kona

Hated it as soon as I left the lot I never got floor mats and the driver rug was torn up in 6 months. The hatchback lost its rubber tubing right away. I felt like it was holding back. Weird noises. I felt like it was jinxed or something. Had 3 accidents

Overall it is a affordable and dependable vehicle, good gas mileage, and comfortable, the step in and out is perfect. The interior is a nice fabric does not get dirty as much as others.

More of a pain than it's worth

Every time you get into the car it makes you acknowledge you'll drive safely. What's the point of having the car recognize the driver and still makes you hit the stupid button (unless you wait forever for it to clear the screen). If it knows who's driving, having that come up every time you start the car is VERY redundant! Don't park the car where you may not remember where it's park. Unless you're standing next to the car, you won't hear the noise it makes to help you find it. Most cars worth the cost will sound the horn. Not this one. Putting it mildly, I named my car B with 5 more letters after it. Use your imagination.
