Love the car

It’s versatile in all weather types, gas mileage is pretty good when on interstate, but in town not so much. The car has nice fewtures with screen all digital, I wish the mobile app had a schedule option so I could set it up for a week at a time to have my car to start in the morning before leaving to go in the winter! It only has a 10 minute run time also. That’s not long enough when it’s frigid temps outside and windows frosted over. This car does great in the snow and the heat is perfect! Summer time the air running before you get in when it’s 100+ degrees outside is Awesome! It’s been a reliable car and would recommend!

Is a pretty good daily but not so much for everything else

My car is pretty nice but the gas mileage sucks for when I’m just dailying it around. Especially just for a 1.6L turbo. Although the tiny extra performance over some competition is nice but it isn’t that much. I highly recommend bringing back the N version of the car and it being AWD at the same time. I personally feel like that it would be a pretty good sleeper car especially if it had the same 2.0l turbo as in the Elantra or sonata N. I would 100% trade my Kona in for a Kona N if it were to come out, and be AWD. The seats on the car is pretty good feeling but for long term there quite uncomfortable, especially because your can move the lumbar around, only forward and back. And the last thing I don’t like about the car is the transmission, it feels very sluggish and has no idea if I want to accelerate especially while getting on the high way or just wanting to accelerate faster.

Great Compact crossover

I tried the Kona after trading in my Kia Sorrento. The car is smaller than my Kia, but it has all the same bells and whistles, possibly even more. So far, I have loved driving the Hyundai; it's the first one I have had.

Great car - specific specs

Love my car but I recently had to replace the windshield and I have been on a battle to replace it because non OEM windshields do not work with the lane assist features and now have to pay more to fix the issue. Otherwise I love the brand but I wish that would have been told to me during purchase.

Pros vs Cons of owning a 2024 Kona

I'm 69 and a first time Hyundai owner. I love the Kona's styling and the touch screen dash. Apple CarPlay is fantastic but you need a cable to connect to it. There are a lot of functions in this car and I can't remember what they all do. They need a video to teach you only the warning lights and sounds. If one goes off in traffic I don't have time to figure out what it is. It can be confusing. The center console is disappointing because it's so small but it's a trade off for wider seats and I would rather have the bigger seats. My husband in 250 lbs and can sit comfortably in the car. If you buy one, be sure to get a power liftgate. Mine is manual. Most of the time my hands are full and i don't want to rub around in the dust feeling around for that manual button. One thing i do not like, the Kona is underpowered. In everyday traffic I find I have to press the accelerator a long way to get much of a response from the engine. I can drive it in Sports Mode and it's better but I feel like I'm burning extra fuel. For it's size, it's a nice car. Not roomy but comfortable.

pretty good suv

can cometimes feel a little small in there, the seat doesnt adjust straight upwards, it moves upright to where my legs go up and not the back of the seat so i still cant see and cant actually move the seat straight up without my feet dangling

Great experience, Love my Kona

Love the Look of my Kona, the safety features are great, rides real comfortable. Do not like the hatch, very heavy and hard to reach(I am short) and heavy to close.
