I love this car!

The Kona being a smaller SUV packs its own punch on the road. The milage is great , on the highway I get 40 mpg city 32-36 depending on commute traffic. The ride is quite smooth for a small car and it is quiet inside. It is very roomy inside and I have hauled a lot of stuff packed from front to back and it still performed well. The cluster panel is touch screen, easy to configure and is cool looking! I love the backseat console with cup holders. I get many compliments on this car.

Newer vehicles have some great features. Shows me cars in my blind spot. Shows upcoming stop signs or stop lights. great mileage, temperature control.

Love my Kona!

I had a 2021 Kona, went in for an oil change and while I was waiting, test drove the 2024. I looked online before my appointment just in case I do a trade in and loved the mystic green color. I love the upgrade and the new features at the time I bought it. I’m very happy with my car!

Warning lights

3 or 4 times in the shop for every warning light coming on. While on car didn’t run right. After being in the shop and told all fixed. The lights continue to come on every 3 to 4 months. Needless to say I can’t trust my car to go on road trips. Which is why I bought it. Beyond frustrating.

Kona is my go-to vehicle on my next lease.

Overall, I am happy with the 2024 Kona. Exterior design is attractive, and the wheel design is great. I find the response time in acceleration is a bit slow as my former Kona had the Turbo option. This one took time to get used to. Great mileage for this size car. I would like to see the moon roof included in the buy package and not as an option.

A terrific car and terrific value

The 2024 Kona, much larger than its predecessor, is even bigger than one can expect when inside. Well-appointed with good controls, pleasant styling and drives very well for short or long trips. This is my second Hyundai (Sonata) and the brand offers first rate value and quality, and we ended up replacing our aging Outback with a Tucson hybrid.

Love my Kona! It travels cross country very comfortably.

My Kona gets better gas mileage than advertised. I love that because we do a lot of road trips. It is a very comfortable ride and very roomy.

Not excellent

Fundamentally a great car but too many confounding electronic features that I could live with if I was able to turn all of them off if it were possible. Some can be turned off but some can't. All the manuals should be re-written to make them at least moderately easy to understand. I've spent too many hours trying to fully understand how to solve some issue and realizing that I just don't get it. No matter how hard I try I just don't get it.

Great Ride with Room to Improve on Features

I had a really positive experience with my 2024 Hyundai Kona SEL. The car was spacious, offering plenty of legroom in both the front and back, and the exterior design was sleek and modern. I especially liked the color options and the large, clear screen display—though it scratched a bit too easily. While I appreciated the overall design and comfort, I felt that the interior materials could have been higher quality, and the tech features didn’t quite match the price point. Still, I really enjoyed the vehicle overall and was happy with it.
