Ripoff and Lack Accountability on Services Paid
I looked for service around my area and by appointments they were booked. I happened to come across Atlas Auto Care and their reviews are outstanding. I called prior to having my vehicle serviced and asked for estimates on labor and parts. I had my vehicle towed and dropped off at this location to get it serviced. The clerk had told me a ball park estimate including parts and labor and no more than $1500 to fix a moderator on a Toyota vehicle. The clerk adjusted the price and informed me that it is not a moderator that needs to be replaced. I had the ABS unit and a steering wheel sensor replaced because all the lights on the dashboard turned on and wouldn't start. The mechanic took everything apart from the dashboard. He told me I had a defect ABS unit. I came by to pick up the vehicle in the afternoon (2.5 weeks). The bill to fix everything came out nearly $4k. I requested to have the old ABS unit and steering wheel sensor so I can report it to my Toyota manufacture for a defect on part. The manager named Josh said the old part of the ABS unit cost additional $500 to keep.

Sounds bullshit to me. The old savage product is no use. He said he had to keep it because it's their policy. Okay. He is willing to give it only if I pay the $500. I declined (He try scam me). I left that afternoon with my vehicle. In the evening, I noticed all the lights behind the air conditioning system and mode were off. I can't tell where the switch buttons are without the lights behind the center console. I also noticed a light flickering from behind the console gearshift. The next morning the lights from the dashboard turned on again and the vehicle wouldn't start up again.

I thought this was fixed. I had it towed again -- money out of my pocket. I asked why this was happening when he fixed it. The mechanic said he'll look into it. He said it was a minor wiring mishap. I also told him about the other lights and features that wasn't working properly. He said he fixed it. After a week gone by, the same thing happened again. I'm flustered. This Atlas Auto Care is a joke. Unreliable, incompetent mechanic and insufficient quality in management. The lights on the dashboard turned on for the third time in less than a month from services and I can't start my car. Do I want to go back to Atlas Auto Care when they didn't fix my car in the first place?

I waited a month to get my car serviced elsewhere. I returned back to Atlas Auto Care to get a reimbursement on Mechanic error and to unprofessionally bitch at someone. The mechanic forgot to rehook few of the wires. The cause and effect of the dashboard lights turning back on were the loose wiring. I approached the manager on duty and the current manager informed me the management had changed. Josh the manager no longer worked there. I announced to the current manager that even though Josh, the old management isn't there; his staff, the mechanic knows of me, and he is still responsible for incomplete services that were paid for. This blows.
Do I really want to go back here to get this credit... some unreliable workmanship.

The outstanding reviews were posted by their friends and family.
Heed, my warning. I don't recommend this business.
