Tyler said the business never called him regarding the status on the vehicle. He noticed the air cap to one of his tires was missing after he picked up the vehicle and when he notified the business, they sent him a picture of the vehicle and told him that the cap was on there after he picked up the vehicle. He said he could not see the tire on the picture and the business is basically calling him a liar regarding the incident. He mentioned his family has taken their vehicles to the business several times and he has friends that want to bring their vehicle to the business, but he is not recommending his family and friends to the business until this problem is resolved. He also requested the business contact him.

We have a repair update follow-up procedure with every customer, which is initiated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tyler’s repair was a two day process in which the vehicle was dropped and the following day was completed. A phone call was made the following day to inform him of the available pickup time. Regarding the air cap, unfortunately, we had misunderstood that Tyler was missing an air cap and not a center wheel cap. When he first called in to say it was missing, we brought up the photos of the vehicle when it was first estimated which had shown a missing wheel cap. I followed up with Tyler after receiving his comments and then realized it was an air cap. I let him know that we have several here and he could have all of them. He was happy with the follow-up and thanked us for calling.
