Although we have checks and balances to ensure this does not happen we did fail Mr Oden and we are truley sorry. It is and has never been our business model to be lazy, incompetent nor untrustworthy.
Hearing of this situation brought saddness and deep concern for the situation and Mr Oden. We have made contact with Mr Oden and are going to refund the diagnostic charge to him and expressed our deepest apologies for our mistake.
LMC has always taken pride in our abilities to diagnose the problems with our customers vehicles and this kind of feedback is extremely important.
We have rectified the process that allowed this to slip thru to ensure it does not happen again in the future.
We truely hope to see Mr Oden again if he can allow us the oppurtunity earn his trust once more.
I ended getting a 2nd opinion at aamco. It end up being a short leading to the solenoid that controls shifting and cost $895 + tax.
If your people would have done a little trouble shooting they would have found the same thing and would retain my business.
What a sad testament for LMC
