Rude and Expensive
Park city is known for its thriving community and local businesses. With this in mind I was expecting nothing less than great service from one of Park City's few if not only auto repair shops. Unfortunately Mercer Automotive did not live up to these expectations. Their prices online are outdated and an oil change listed as $35.95 ended up costing around $55.00. I had expected a high price at a small-sized shop in a vacation town, but not bad service. The mechanic at the front desk was rude and walked away while I was explaining additional problems I needed to have looked at while having the basic service done. Of course when I picked up the vehicle he did not mention these additional problems, and when asked he said that the mechanic didn't notice anything. The next day my car starts riding rough, AC goes out, and engine light comes on. Needless to say I will be taking it to a different shop.
