Had head gaskets and studs install on a 2003 6.0 Powerstroke and on the way home I could hear a major exhaust leak, absolutely no power, and grinding noise in the transmission. So I decided to have it towed back to the shop. A few days later I got a call saying they couldn't find any issues and it was good to go. I picked it up for the second time and it ran god awful....absolutely terribly. On top of it all, the truck was muddy and i noticed my jack was in the bed covered with mud....I have never used it, not even once, its always been behind the back seat. After getting it home, I found 3 exhaust leaks, one from the V clamp on the turbo down pipe(wasn't even tightened), and two more from each exhaust manifold to up-pipe connection. After repairing those I moved on to repairing a massive oil leak coming from the oil filter housing base. I was baffled that they would let something in this much disrepair leave their shop.
Moral of the story: Stay AWAY, stay far, far away from Merica Motorsports. They are dishonest and do terrible work. I wouldn't trust them with the simplest of jobs.
