After coming back from underway I see all the responses from Jorge the CEO of Petro. After my first initial review which wasn't just based on a few broken clips. They quickly responded by calling me to rectify the problems I had after I posted the 3star review. They were flexible with my time schedule to provide the plastic clips for the wiring harnesses on my valve cover and the body pins for the inner fender liner. I would recommend Petro and I will continue to use them as my local shop for when projects go beyond my means. I will always have a keen eye for details as Jorge has suggested. Because in my line of work if small details are over looked then what major details have been over looked. I like Petro's attention to the customers needs they do make you feel like family from prompt and friendly service to the courteous shuttle vehicle to get you home.

Poor attention to detail
Took truck in to have valve cover replaced because I lack the tools. Well upon picking the vehicle up, I got a check engine light, but the shop was already closed and I don't live to far away so I drove it home cause I have the tools to diagnosis that. Upon reading the code it was engine running lean. I cleared the code and proceeded to inspect the engine bay. I first noticed that parts were just left in the engine bay. One happened to be the PVC tube for the valve cover to the intake. So I replaced that. While doing that I found that a plastic body pin had been used to fill a hole in the valve cover were a wire loom hold was supposed to be. I also found that another wire loom hold down had been broken and not replaced. After removing the body pin I knew it belonged to the inner fender over the driver side tire cause that is one of the places you had to use to access the intake manifold. Upon inspection of this I found that body pins were missing and some had been placed in the wrong spots. To top it off I saw were the mechanic must have missed a body pin but instead of removing it he ripped the liner out of the wheel well. After correcting all the mistakes I could see, I haven't had the check engine light light up again. They did do a good job replacing the valve cover but defiantly lacked attention to detail when removing parts and putting them back on.

Mr. Ivie,

The last plastic clip that is on the driver side valve cover is not available (acording to the dealer it only comes with the wiring harness). After meeting with you and delivering all the plastic little clips that needed to be replaced (whether we broke them or not),  I'm sorry we were not able to make you happy. A 3 star and No Recommended rating is a bit harsh because of some plastic clips. I understand your a detailed guy because you painted the valve covers to match the red paint on your vehicle. I hope you find a shop that will cater to you and your vehicles.
