I had the clutch (of my husband's car) looked at, it was making sounds. Service guy, young said it was the pedal—no repairs necessary. One week later I needed a new clutch which you replaced. I was told that the previous incident was unrelated. Also he let me know that he'd never have a WRX with a manual transmission. ( I wish our sales person had told us this).

I apologize for the confusion regarding your last experience with our service department. Please understand we do see the clutches on WRX's worn more often then any other vehicle. However, the clutch is a wearable component and will eventually need replacement in most vehicles over the course of ownership. I understand the noise was coming from the pedal assembly and may still be an issue at this point. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you further with this vehicle.
