I bought my Mini used about 3 years ago I have taken good care of it, I had it in for service twice during that time for normal wear and tear to the tune of at least $3,000, then about a month ago my check engine light went on and I took it in for service, I got a report back saying it will cost me $7,250 for repairs, I was stuck still owing $7,000 on a car loan. The people at Mini seemed to pretend sympathy but in the end the refused to do anything to help me out or work with me, and the topper is when they sold me the car someone should have mentioned that a previous owner had a cat who obviously pissed in the car, because when it gets damp there is a distinct oder. Mini Cooper sold me a car that was bad and still charged me for the diagnostic test before they would let me have my car back. They I believe are a dis-honest group and probably will be no better when West Herr takes over the dealership.
